Nestled in the Surrey hills, Watts Gallery Artists Village is a unique 19th and early 20th century art-heritage site. George Frederic Watts, the celebrated Victorian artist, lived and worked here with his talented wife Mary. During our visit, we will be given a guided tour of the couple’s former home, Limnerslease, which is one of the most celebrated Arts & Crafts houses in Surrey, designed by the famous architect Sir Ernest George. We will also have the opportunity to visit the artist’s studio and Watts Gallery, which houses over 100 paintings and sculptures. Also on site is the Grade 1 listed Arts & Crafts masterpiece, Watts Chapel, created by Mary Watts.
Tickets are £32.00 for the full visit, including coffee/tea and biscuits on our arrival. During the day there will be time to take lunch and explore Artists Village, including the gift shop where you will receive 10% discount.
